Demo · fictitious data
CAPEX control connected to the financial model.
Costa Dorada is a fictitious 120 MWp solar project with €84M of approved CAPEX. The demo shows what happens when one line item goes €3M over.
This demonstrates one part of the PMO, built with fictitious data.
What it does
- 01Brings together approved and forecast figures for 40 WBS lines in one view.
- 02Compares each close with the previous month and flags deviations above €100,000 or 5%.
- 03Recalculates project IRR, equity IRR and DSCR with every change in the forecast.
- 04Calculates the maximum CAPEX the target return allows.
- 05Spreads a deviation over the remaining months using four criteria, the S-curve among them.
- 06Prepares a management report in six sections, from capital position to traceability.
What it does not do yet
- In the film, the reforecast below the threshold runs on its own. In the current dashboard the system proposes it and a person confirms it.
- Planning, risk and readiness appear in the film as the next modules. They are designed and not yet built.
In each engagement we work on the company’s process and data.
The demo uses a solar project, but the same approach adapts to other cases, such as a wind project, a BESS or a whole portfolio. The free diagnostic indicates which process is worth starting with.
