Renewable companies usually have experienced project teams, and still there are moments when nobody is at the helm: someone is on leave or leaves, a project starts before hiring is closed, the portfolio peaks or a project has deviated and needs a fresh pair of eyes. In those cases we take over project leadership within the company's organisation, with its processes and its tools.
Our view
- 01
The interim works with the company's processes and does not bring their own. If something is missing, we flag it and management decides.
- 02
The handover is prepared from day one. What is decided is written down, so the permanent manager receives the project without depending on anyone's memory.
- 03
We tell management what we see from the first week, including what is not going well, because that is when there is still room to correct it.
What we deliver
We take over the project in whatever phase it is in and hand it to the permanent manager when the company decides.
- Leadership of the project in its current phase, from permitting to commissioning.
- A diagnosis of the project's status in the first weeks, covering schedule, cost, risks and contracts.
- The relationship with contractors, suppliers and authorities.
- Reporting to management and to the investment committee.
- An up-to-date project file for the handover.
How we work
- Commitment: full-time or part-time, depending on the phase and size of the project.
- Duration: for a defined period or until the permanent manager joins.
- Location: at the company's offices, and on site when the project calls for it.
- Handover: we leave the project documented and support the permanent manager through their first weeks.
