Free diagnostic

Maturity diagnostic: processes, automation and AI.

We give an independent assessment of how the company governs and controls its projects, in ten areas, and of how much of that work automation and artificial intelligence agents could already take on. Within a week we deliver a written report with what we believe should be improved, what already works and where to start. It is free of charge. With the report we send a proposal.

Processes existed in almost every area. They were partly followed, but rarely changed a decision in time. Nothing was automated.

The roadmap sets the first year. What comes next is planned with what that year teaches.

What it reviews

Ten areas, seen through the same four criteria.

We go through the company’s project management area by area. What the team tells us is checked against the documents the company chooses to share. That lets us see which processes should be created, which can be improved, which work well and where an artificial intelligence agent could already help.

  1. 01Whether the process exists
  2. 02Whether it is followed
  3. 03Whether information arrives in time to decide
  4. 04How much a tool or an artificial intelligence agent already does

How it works

The first stage takes a week. The analysis is ours, and it takes the company’s team less than two hours.

  1. 01

    Request

    Today

It is a short form. We reply within two working days, with the questionnaire and proposed dates for the session.

  2. 02

    Questionnaire

    Before the session

The company completes a questionnaire that goes, area by area, through how it manages its projects today. If it can share them, we also ask for documents such as a monthly report, a project schedule or a cost control sheet, which we review before the session.

  3. 03

    Session

    60 minutes

We meet by video call with someone directly involved in managing the projects. The answers to the questionnaire guide the conversation, so the hour goes to the areas that weigh most on cost and schedule.

  4. 04

    Analysis

    Our work

We analyse, area by area, what we believe should be improved and what is worth reinforcing because it already works. With that we prepare a roadmap and, if the company wishes, a proposal for automation and artificial intelligence. We need no access to any system for this work.

  5. 05

    Report and proposal

    1 week

A week after the session we commit to sending the report, with the roadmap and a specific financial proposal. We will go through it in a thirty-minute call with whoever the company chooses.

Before receiving any document we sign a confidentiality agreement with the company.

What is delivered

A report designed for taking decisions.

We deliver a short report, written for management to decide. It sets out the maturity of each area, the findings ordered by their effect on cost and schedule, a phased roadmap and the processes where artificial intelligence can contribute, and in every statement it separates what was observed from what is a hypothesis. The report says what should change and in what order. Designing each process and its tools is the work of the following phases, and we send our proposal for them separately.

The report belongs to the company and carries no commitment.

Exhibit 2Findings by effect

Example

Findings are ranked by their effect on cost and schedule. The roadmap starts with the first ones.

  1. Risk managementThe risk register is opened at kick-off and not reviewed until the risk occurs.

Effect on cost and schedule: High
  2. PlanningEach project uses its own schedule structure and there is no approved baseline.

Effect on cost and schedule: High
  3. CAPEX controlThe final cost forecast is only updated when the invoice arrives.

Effect on cost and schedule: High
  4. ReadinessTwo projects moved into construction with open permits and no sign-off.

Effect on cost and schedule: Medium

Scope

What the initial diagnostic includes and what it leaves out.

Included

  • The ten areas of project management
  • A questionnaire, area by area
  • A one-hour session by video call
  • A reading of the documents the company chooses to share
  • A written report, with the roadmap, and a call to go through it
  • A proposal in phases, with scope and price

Not included

  • An in-depth review of specific projects
  • Access to the company’s systems or data
  • Visits to the office or to site
  • The redesign of the processes
  • The development of tools or agents
  • Savings estimates in euros, which require project data

What is left out is part of the paid work and is set out in the proposal that comes with the report.

Before receiving any document we sign a confidentiality agreement, and it takes the company’s team less than two hours in total. Each month we accept a limited number of diagnostics.

What happens next

The proposal comes in phases and the company decides how far to go.

Together with the report we send a proposal. Its first step is to complete the diagnostic in depth, with interviews in each department and a review of real projects, to confirm the scope. Then comes the improvement, which first deals with the processes: with the company’s team we define the ones that are missing and review the ones that are not working.

In a second phase we build the tools and artificial intelligence agents that take care of the repetitive part and help each process to be followed.

Each phase is contracted separately, with fixed scope and price. If the company prefers to apply the report on its own, it is entirely free to do so.

Request

Request the diagnostic.

With these details we arrange the session. We reply within two working days.

A couple of lines about the portfolio and the company’s main concern are enough.

What happens on sending

  1. We check that the diagnostic fits the company’s situation.
  2. We reply by email with the link to the questionnaire and two or three possible dates for the session.
  3. A week after the session we send the report.
